- I have finally decided that I need to explore the art of portrait photography. I still love landscapes and wildlife, but the older I get the more I appreciate the the human face. I now understand how the artists and painters from the past felt as they studied the way light can influence the message of a person’s face. Wish me luck as I officially start this journey with a self portrait of myself using window light and a little fill flash.
